Originally hailing from Toronto, Ontario Canada, Brennan Green decided to pack up his things, move to New York and pursue his creative vision in music. Once settled, Brennan was earning fistfuls of his newly adopted currency, the American Dollar, working in local record shops such as Sonic Groove. These stores proved to be perfect places to soak up new sounds and meet people that would in the future help establish Brennan as a taste making producer from New York City. Early inspirations such as Steely Dan, Stereo Lab and Basic Channel insured that he would indeed take the path less followed. Hooking up with forward thinking labels such as CSM, Balihu and Modal to release his original recordings meant that his musical ideas could flow unhindered. Since then he and Danny Wang have collaborated on remixes for established overseas labels such as Paper, Nuphonic, Peacefrog and Romklang. Nowadays you'll find Brennan releasing music on his own label Chinatown. Keep your ears peeled for his sounds to be shaking things up for the future. A wise man once said, "break down barriers, mess up heads!".
